IMO half a cube in a pint of hot water makes a really nice drink. I do the same with Knorr chicken stock cubes. I don't think I've ever had Wincarnis so I can't say whether it's appetising or disgusting. I expect it's another one of those acquired tastes. Some people detest cod liver oil but I quite like it. I think that must stem from when when I was an ankle-biter just after WWII. Food was scarce so Mum gave us a spoon of cod liver oil and malt extract as a vitamin supplement. -- ^Ã^.
