My mother and (I think) her mother would have the occasional glass of 
Wincarnis. I had a sip or two once and found it quite sweet and 
generally disgusting. It contained meat extract in those days hence the 
'carnis' in its name. I see it no longer contains meat so perhaps they 
should rename it!
