Because I was working at home full-time and therefore walking around in 
bare feet most of the last 3 years.
Unlike Mariah Carey, most people don't walk around in heels when at 
home.

Now I've lost the ability to wear them long term.

I have fond memories of submitting receipts for business.
Now I have a job that doesn't require travel.
