Thoughts on V TV series

I had posted this message about a month ago on the alt.paranet.ufo news
 group, but it doesn't look like that group is active anymore. Since this
 one has a little more traffic, I thought I would post it here. I'd be
 curious to hear JTEM's and others comments. Please excuse any formatting
 issues. 

One of my all-time favorite TV miniseries was V, the original from 1983 to
 1984. The 2010 reboot series was also really good. In this particular 2010
 series, there was an episode in the first season about how the visitors
 were trying to gift the humans with a special vitamin injection to help
 fight off all sorts of diseases. But behind the scenes, it was actually an
injection that was intended to insert some kind of tracking compound that
 the Vs could use to monitor humans covertly. Their plan was to somehow
combine or replace the flu vaccine with this one. I thought the idea was
 quite fascinating, considering the series came out many years prior to the
covid pandemic.

Seeing as the Vs were covertly alien lizards, I find the parallels to a lot
 of the alien / UFO lore relating to these lizard beings to be really
 interesting.

For anyone who has not seen the 2010 reboot of V, it is well worth a watch,
 especially if you enjoyed the original. The most recent update I've heard
 is that the original creator Kenneth Johnson is working with the studios
 for a major motion picture reboot of this series.

Of all the TV / movie depictions of alien visitors in the form of lizards, I
 find that V is my favorite and the most disturbing in terms of how it
 relates to other alleged reports of lizard aliens masquerading as humans!
