is it fair for my mum to lock me in my room as punishment if I sneak out when grounded ?
this weekend my mum is going to lock me in my bedroom with a key as a punishment this is because last weekend I was grounded for bad behaviour, skipping school etc I sneaked out the house and came home at 11pm my mum went mad and I told her to f--- off now my mum has said as I cant be trusted to stay in she has no choice but to lLOCK ME UP in my room ALL weekend no tv no phone etc I will have to eat in my room and will only be let out for bathroom breaks, apart from that my bedroom door will bw kept locked with a key at ALL times.
IS THIS A FAIR PUNISHMENT ? OR IS MY MUM BEING TOO STRICT ?

In the US this is called false imprisonment a felony crime. You can not lock anyone in a room. If a fire breaks out etc. an escape route would be blocked also illegal.

It's not fair for you to keep subjecting us to your punishment fetish. You are clearly a troll with a strange obsession with being locked in a room. You've been asking these same kinds of questions for months, maybe even a year.

Let's back up to the point when you decided to be childish, irresponsible and bratty. THAT was when you ought to have thought of what's fair. Were you being fair? What followed your bad behavior is hardly a matter for discussion. You're on lock down, just like a prisoner, and all prisoners are innocent, to hear them tell it. Grow up.

Yes. You broke the rules and now have to pay for it. She might feel that the road your going down will lead to you going to jail. Then you really will be locked up with nothing to do. Take what your mother is giving to you, be thankful she loves you, and straighten out.

Sounds like a fair punishment given that you refused to accept punishment last time and swore at her when she called you on it.

You deserved it. In the future don't treat her with such disrespect and she won't treat you with mistrust!
