Okay i relized there is a ton of things i missed in this room scene
1. this is Mike's room due to his claustrophobia after getting trapped in the mine
2. theres many metaphors for watching someone die like the owl statue at 0:07, the faces at 0:24, and even the clues saying "To watch someone die" and the paintings feature death in some way a painting of a dead man in a room on the top left, a boy watching a dead body carried on tv (Also wearing a reindeer shirt) like the Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer that played in the car crash at 1:55 a painting of Robespierre holding king Louis head, and a image of a hunter killing a tiger the images of point and death taunts Mike that he was not able to see his son before he died
3. (CZ pointed it out) the text above the door says Acta Est Fabula or The play's over and more text saying " Death Conquers all"
4. there are many chess references in the room from the game of chess on the table and the floor tiles simular to a chess board conquering is also a task in chest where you are supposed to conquers the other teams chess pieces
5. there is many references to the outside world including the clue "Follow the light(Sunlight) to greener pastures (Outside) symbolizing just like Mike he needs to follow to the light to escape theres also butterflies all around the room which hints like butterflies he must go into a cocooned state (the fireplace) in order to become free like a butter fly
6. the final clue is that the room was designed that all the lights are in the opposite of the room meaning the wall extinguishes the light , not only can be used as a timer until the room closes up, but also a hint to extinguish all light especially the light in the fireplace
