It is so hard to feel trusting towards a church or religion setting because of people i have encountered with in the past. Reading about the unforgivable sins in Christianity and thinking about that school that was literally trying to teach the students the Bible but then none of the staff abided by it. They only forced it onto us so we would live in the Fear of God and obey them. I did get closer to God and understood the Bible there but realizing how they were using it against me made me really question many religions. I believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sins and whoever believes in that will have eternal life but then it was so hard to not be mad at God for putting me in such a twisted environment. I remember not being able to talk to anybody all day during punishment "brown town" and I would always be praying to God in my head but prayers were never answered. It was very devastating to me and traumatizing. I want someone to look into Agape Boarding School and somehow get schools like that under control. This school made me question my religion towards the end, growing up as a Christian and then getting abused with Christianity was two different worlds. I remember the church I grew up everyone was good hearted and it felt good to help people with them. But then once I got back I looked at religions differently. I think once I started actually straying away from my church activities life was spiraling downwards. After more interactions with more and more Christians and other religious folks these past few years I came to a conclusion that Agape was just a different rare breed of Mid-West, using religion for power/self-gain and then having the religion be the cover up for them. After some extensive research online, I understood that these type of bad churches are actually more prevalent then I thought. It's sick and evil the one's who are at the top running these big organizations. They prey on the weak, the one's who are looking for a meaning in life, the one's who were hurt and want help. Because God is really the one for all that, but the one's who abuse it and use that to control you is something else. Fuck Agape. I've never even really got to talk to the owners to get to know them but dealing with the staff was terrible. How they hid away a series of terrible events that happened and then were able to smile at us and tell us they were doing it for our good. Oh yeah, the staff member for my school section wanted to smoke spice with me when my family came to visit. The staff only had good intentions for our future forsure.
