This unguarded statement owning up to a sense of revulsion when eating meat
shows plainly that your entire time spent arguing against vegans who abstain
from it for the same reason has been a fraudulent attack upon a group whom
you've tried but failed to aspire to. Eating meat doesn't come naturally to
you. The very thought of it revolts you, but unlike the vegan who lives by
the strength of his convictions you don't have that strength, and so you try
to belittle their efforts instead. Well, I get the last laugh, Jon, and he
who laughs last... It was inevitable.

Tall poppy syndrome. We're talking about a slacker who failed to get the
education he went after and then lied about having achieved his aim. He's
quite pathetic. To paraphrase something he wrote which clearly applies to
himself, "He clumsily pretends to a level of education and sophistication he
doesn't have, striving earnestly for good marks. It's fake - but also funny.
It's also sad, because it bespeaks a massive insecurity." He's his own worst
insult, and it tickles me pink.
