This is going to open a barrel of snakes. For example, if a fetus is a person it can: Inherit be a tax deduction be counted in a census own property just to name a few. Now what happens if the fetus is never born? What is the status under inheritance laws? Does it owe taxes for the year? If it own property who inherits? Who can claim it as a tax deduction? At what point does a fetus legally exist? That is a few off the top of my head. -- Some of the Republican positions I find disgusting and abhorrent.
