I’m not so sure that no one would vote for it. Look at all the courageous
folders on the budget bill who started as NO and voted as YES anyway,
against all their own (and constituency) best interests.

Speaking of votes, have you seen any clips of Nebraska (R) rep Mike Flood’s
town hall? Clips of it made all the tv and online rounds.
His answers are pretty weak (as most of them are these days) but it’s
notable not so much for his answers, as for the questions.
Very red state and district, trump won by double digits there. 
First, the audience so was so well behaved and courteous, not raucous or
unruly like so many other town halls. So nobody on Fox can pretend they
were “hired libs” plants. 
But even more notable were their questions. I mean, these people did their
homework and came PREPARED. I mean, they quoted literal parts of the bill,
including whole reference section numbers, and the questions were SMART,
not smarmy or combative. 
Really well done, all town halls should be like this. (His answers were
lousy, by the way. They came prepared. He did not.)
