A woman who comes to the pool talked about instacart  to me one time

She is a criminology professor and her dad had a stroke and could not walk

I get how this was a time saver for her 

What i do not get is how two people need this much food

I look at my neighbor’s fridge and shopping habits and wonder how one
person needs this much food

She so often ends up giving me stuff that has expired

I also do not understand why she says “i like to cook”

When americans say they like to cook, they mean they like to open a jar of
commercial alfredo sauce and use it on something besides pasta
