   had DUMPED the mummy somewhere and STOLE the fancy coffin.
   What was left of the king ... probably a shallow grave out
   in the sand.

   Ramses-II was THE peak of Egyptian power and wealth. Yet
   while fame may last, authority does not. Apparently even
   Ramses-III didn't give a shit what happened to dad's
   mummy. Egyptian rulers had a habit of erasing their
   predecessors - to the point of even chipping their names
   off monuments and adding their own. A very "ME ! And
   ONLY ME!" ruling culture.
