   The skinny ...

   VERY old carbon isotopes are being injected into
   the modern biosphere. In part it's 'GW' or whatever
   trends pass for it.

   Problem - mostly to do with archeology. We DATE
   old things (good up to 50,000 years) using carbon
   14 ratios. It seemed a fairly reliable method
   with just minor adjustments for solar variations.

   BUT, if 'old' carbon isotopes have been bleeding
   into the environment since the last ice age then
   we cannot always TRUST C-14 dating.

   There ARE other methods ... and they now MUST be
   added to the equations just to Be Sure.

   Hey, who said Nature would make it all easy ???
