In an earlier version of the story, he boasted that he'd spent the Summer of Love living with two girls because... he could. This is a particularly poignant episode in the A.A.P.C. folklore, as Will Donkey and Tina appeared to be genuinely in love. After all, it isn't every day that you find someone who shares your enjoyment in "giggling at gays" as they enter and leave a local gay bar. Tina, apparently a teenage runaway, and Will had daydreamed of running to Canada together, apparently to escape his marriage (and the alimony and child support bills he would never pay). When Kathy reappeared on their doorstep with their infant son, Clay, in tow, Will, perhaps for the only time in his life, chose to act responsibly. Will managed to contact Tina via Facebook many years later, and the hurt in her initial response to him was palpable. She had, however, married and the two parted on a friendly note. Will Donkey always says that Kathy (who he cheated on left and right) was the great love of his life. However, the folklore seems to point to Tina as the one that he's been carrying a torch for all these years.
