Could humans someday explore Saturn's moon Titan, or will humanoid
robots do it for us?

--------------------------------

I envision decapods, like lobsters, as suited for exploring the unknown if
power is limited, such as further from the Sun. Six legs move it as
alternating tripods which are stable and don't draw continuous power like
the 2 wheeled robots I worked on at Segway, though those were incredibly
nimble and mobile, and stable without power if the center of gravity is
below the axle. The other four limbs are a strong and a precise pair to
manipulate objects or assist when stuck.

The human body plan compares poorly to the mobility of most animals except
for long distance running.
