Violating the 13th Amendment and declaring all 192,749 persons criminals 
and slave denied their RIGHT until they can show they aren't guilty of a 
crime....

More upside down Democrat logic... the Constitution says that for us to 
be denied things like our RIGHTS we have to have been subjected to due 
process.  Those that had committed no crimes and were forced to get a 
background check were denied their RIGHT because they were denied due 
process and simply placed at the same government level as those who 
committed crimes and got their due process.

You can't make life better for everyone by making more people's life 
less better.  Treating everyone as a duly convicted criminal doesn't 
punish or rehabilitate the duly convicted since they haven't lost 
anything only those NOT given due process lost something.

*Amendment V*
No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous 
crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury, except in 
cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the Militia, when in 
actual service in time of War or public danger; nor shall any person be 
subject for the same offence to be twice put in jeopardy of life or 
limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness 
against himself, *nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property* , 
*without due process of law* ; nor shall private property be taken for

And then there is the 13th that makes it UNCONSTITUTIONAL to make 
someone a a slave (removing RIGHTS or LIBERTY) without due process and 
being DULY CONVICTED.

*Amendment XIII*
Section 1. Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, *except as* a 
*punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted* 
, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their 
jurisdiction.



Background checks to prove you didn't lose your RIGHT is failed logic 
according to the U.S. Constitution.  It denies you the DUE PROCESS you 
have a RIGHT to before you are deprived of "life, liberty, or property" 
and before you are DULY CONVICTED of a crime.

The Constitution says that only AFTER you have been duly convicted and 
sentenced with due process can the United States Government claim you 
have surrendered your RIGHTS and are subjected to "be deprived of life, 
liberty, or property" and/or "slavery or involuntary servitude"

And since NOT all 192,749 background checks weren't DULY Convicted 
criminals and/or had due process to convict them, then that process was 
violating the RIGHT of Americans by government laws that aren't equally 
protecting all Americans RIGHTS like the RIGHT OF THE PEOPLE to keep and 
bear arms. Laws have to *TARGET* the duly convicted who were given due 
process NOT the all the innocent who have committed no crimes.

A background search is violating the 4th Amendment.

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, 
and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be 
violated, and *no Warrants shall issue* , *but upon probable cause* , 
*supported by Oath or affirmation* , *and particularly describing the* 
*place to be searched* , *and the persons or things to be seized* .

They can't pass a law that acts as a warrant to deprive us of that 4th 
Amendment RIGHT to NOT having Government searches when they have no 
evidence of a crime or probable cause.

Again the Democrats Constitutional logic fails, you can't search the 
papers of innocent persons or violate their RIGHTS to exercise a RIGHT 
based on the lack of evidence for a warrant.

We are innocent until proven guilty and DULY CONVICTED... the RIGHT to 
buy a gun is NOT subject to a law that allows government violate other 
rights such as due process or a warrant/probable cause to search so they 
may then violate the RIGHT OF THE PEOPLE TO KEEP AND BEAR ARMS.

How many RIGHTS can be violated by the Government in order to deny the 
right that the Government is targeting...
