You really should post all the data rther tell half truths. The energy used to build and run all that comes from somewhere, mining and smelting all the metals for the batteries, the plastic for the cars. The glass, it all required a lot of energy to make the refined materials. The more it grows the more fossil fuel it takes to build and maintain it... Enlarging the GRID alone is going to take aluminum and Copper and steel and cranes and heavy diesel equipment. The larger the GRID and more cars the GRID is forced to charge, the lower the rate of return on solar/wind will be... If you graph it, at some point the cost and size and energy needs to create andmaintain it, will show a critical point at which the GRID losses will require more energy to build and maintain and charge cars than the Solar/wind and the fossil fuel produces... That's likely when the hungy starving people will lay seige to the White House. -- -Reality Matters-
