And forcing all that energy use to be on the GRID at the same time they force ELECTRIC CARS onto that grid to charge as they travel from A to B because Apartments don't have gas stations or charging stations or garages with personal car charging available.... And the Grid is is supported and only works by way of the FACT that ir's based in fossil fuels and NUCLEAR and if you shut down fossil and nuclear today the Solar, Wind, Hydro and Geothermal... couldn't feed the needs already being demanded without all the NatGas cooking of the homes and commercial restaurants and industrial ovens to make bread and other foods. And when you start to break down the efficiency of cars and stoves using electric produced with fossil fuels as opposed to directly using those fossil fuels to cook or heat or drive a car, you find that converting that fossil to electric to use in a car or the stove or oven, wastes that fossil fuel as it gets lower car mileage and costs more and takes more fossil fuel to cook with than delivering and using it directly at the point of use in it's fossil fuel vehicle or cooking stove and oven. It would be a moving backwards NOT forwards... in cutting fossil fuel use. It would require a larger grid and more fossil fuel used to keep the GRID form failing and that cooking and driving would be less efficient in (btu) use and miles per gallon, due to all the loss in the conversion of that fossil to electric and transporting it on the GRID.
