I have to say we do recognize the clean air and water... and those costs 
were noted in our taxes and the borrowing and spending of tax dollars 
and inflation and the excess counterfeiting of the dollar to pay for it. 
We fought very public battles over budgets and spending money that we 
didn't have and the economic convulsions it all created.


Stagflation was NOT caused by cleaning the environment it was caused by 
social engineering and many other factors the environment isn't a all or 
none it can be worked at over time by both regulations that cost us and 
government spending that costs us but when you employ the time factor 
failed and NON working expenses can be ended. And a series of bad 
economic policies that cost us money are still in place They should be 
set to time out and require a new vote to keep them running.  Over 
reacting and throwing too much money at all kinds of Democrats policies 
under the likes of Lyndon Johnson (LBJ) and his welfare and even Nixon 
and the Vietnam war combined with taking the dollar off the GOLD 
standard and Jimmy (Mr. Peanut Head) Carter and his social programs like

Then to throw Gasoline on that economic fire, we got The Bush One World 
Progressive-Republicans and The Clinton Marxist Democrats disasters in 
the form of the poison pills on Mortgages and Fanny/Freddy buying 
worthless paper. Where they doubled down on all the past failure. They 
raised taxes and passed reforms and created new Social Engineering laws 
and regulation for banking.
