In Canada, pepper spray made for use on people is illegal. Face it: in 
Canada you are defenseless, in most cases. Woke.

Note:

Bear spray is legal to buy and carry only as an animal repellent in 
wildlife areas, but using or carrying it for self-defense against a 
human is a serious criminal offense. Under Canadian law, any spray 
intended to incapacitate a person is classified as a prohibited weapon.
