She also hated thunder and fireworks. When a thunderstorm happened, I'd find her hiding in the bathtube. She also had the strong instinct to chase critters and encountered skunks several time. It has nothing to do with learning, she was an extremely smart dog. It was simply instinct. She lived to 16! -- - Gary Chanson
