Day 112, 22 Apr 2025 1) Psalms 43, 44, 45, 49, 84, 85, 87 Psalms 43 1 Vindicate me, O God, and plead my cause against an ungodly nation; deliver me from the deceitful and unjust man. 2 (Ps 63:1; 84:2) For You are the God of my refuge; why have You rejected me? Why do I walk about mourning because of the oppression of the enemy? 3 (Ps 79:10; 80:5) Send out Your light and Your truth. Let them lead me; let them bring me to Your holy hill, and to Your dwelling place. 4 (Isa 30:29; Ps 62:8) Then I will go to the altar of God, to the God of my joyful gladness; with the harp I will give thanks to You, O God, my God. 5 (Ps 42:11; 43:5) Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted withinme? Hope in God; for I will yet give Him thanks, the salvation of my countenance and my God. Psalm 43 [1] Judge me, O God, and plead my cause against an ungodly nation: O deliver me from the deceitful and unjust man. [2] For thou art the God of my strength: why dost thou cast me off? Why go I mourning because of the oppression of the enemy? [3] O send out thy light and thy truth: Let them lead me; Let them bring me unto thy holy hill, and to thy tabernacles. [4] Then will I go unto the altar of God, unto God my exceeding joy: Yea, upon the harp will I praise thee, O God my God. [5] Why art thou cast down, O my soul? And why art thou disquieted within me? Hope in God: For I shall yet praise him, Who is the health of my countenance, and my God. Psalms 44 For the Music Director. A Contemplative Maskil of the sons of Korah. 1 We have heard with our ears, O God, our fathers have told us what work You did in their days, in the days of old: 2 (Ps 63:1; 84:2) how You drove out the nations with Your hand, and planted others instead; how You afflicted peoples, and sent them away. 3 (Ps 79:10; 80:5) For they did not take possession of the land by their own sword, nor did their own arm save them; but it was Your right hand, and Your arm, and the light of Your countenance, because You had favor on them. 4 (Isa 30:29; Ps 62:8) You are my King, O God; command deliverances for Jacob. 5 (Ps 42:11; 43:5) Through You we will push down our opponents; through Your name we will trample those who rise up against us. 6 (2Sa 17:22; Dt 3:8-9) For I will not trust in my bow, nor will my sword save me. 7 (Ps 88:7; Jnh 2:3) But You have saved us from our opponents, and have put to shame those who hate us. 8 (Job 35:10; Ps 63:6) In God we boast all the day long, and give thanks to Your name forever. Selah 9 (Ps 38:6; 18:2) But You have rejected us and put us to shame, and do not go out with our armies. 10 (Ps 42:3; Joel 2:17) You make us to turn back from the opponent, and those who hate us make us their spoil. 11 (Ps 42:5; 43:5) You have placed us like sheep for prey, and have scattered us among the nations. 12 You sell Your people for nothing, and do not increase Your wealth by their sale. 13 You make us a reproach to our neighbors, a scorn and a derision to those who surround us. 14 You make us a byword among the nations, a shaking of the head among the people. 15 All day long my reproach is before me, and the shame of my face covers me, 16 from the voice of him who reproaches and reviles, by reason of the enemy and avenger. 17 All this is come on us, yet we have not forgotten You, nor have we dealt falsely in Your covenant. 18 Our heart is not turned back, nor have our steps deviated from Your way, 19 though You have crushed us in the place of jackals, and covered us with the shadow of death. 20 If we have forgotten the name of our God, or stretched out our hands to a strange god, 21 would not God search this out? For He knows the secrets of the heart. 22 Yes, for Your sake we are killed all the day long; we are considered like sheep for the slaughter. 23 Awake; why do You sleep, O Lord? Arise; do not reject us forever. 24 Why do You hide Your face, and forget our affliction and our oppression? 25 For our soul is bowed down to the dust; our body cleaves to the earth. 26 Arise, be our help, and redeem us for the sake of Your lovingkindness. Psalm 44 To the chief Musician for the sons of Korah, Maschil. [1] We have heard with our ears, O God, our fathers have told us, What work thou didst in their days, in the times of old. [2] How thou didst drive out the heathen with thy hand, and plantedst them; How thou didst afflict the people, and cast them out. [3] For they got not the land in possession by their own sword, Neither did their own arm save them: But thy right hand, and thine arm, and the light of thy countenance, Because thou hadst a favour unto them. [4] Thou art my King, O God: Command deliverances for Jacob. [5] Through thee will we push down our enemies: Through thy name will we tread them under that rise up against us. [6] For I will not trust in my bow, Neither shall my sword save me. [7] But thou hast saved us from our enemies, And hast put them to shame that hated us. [8] In God we boast all the day long, And praise thy name for ever. Selah. [9] But thou hast cast off, and put us to shame; And goest not forth with our armies. [10] Thou makest us to turn back from the enemy: And they which hate us spoil for themselves. [11] Thou hast given us like sheep appointed for meat; And hast scattered us among the heathen. [12] Thou sellest thy people for nought, And dost not increase thy wealth by their price. [13] Thou makest us a reproach to our neighbours, A scorn and a derision to them that are round about us. [14] Thou makest us a byword among the heathen, A shaking of the head among the people. [15] My confusion is continually before me, And the shame of my face hath covered me, [16] For the voice of him that reproacheth and blasphemeth; By reason of the enemy and avenger. [17] All this is come upon us; yet have we not forgotten thee, Neither have we dealt falsely in thy covenant. [18] Our heart is not turned back, Neither have our steps declined from thy way; [19] Though thou hast sore broken us in the place of dragons, And covered us with the shadow of death. [20] If we have forgotten the name of our God, or stretched out our hands to a strange god; [21] Shall not God search this out? For he knoweth the secrets of the heart. [22] Yea, for thy sake are we killed all the day long; We are counted as sheep for the slaughter. [23] Awake, why sleepest thou, O Lord? Arise, cast us not off for ever. [24] Wherefore hidest thou thy face, And forgettest our affliction and our oppression? [25] For our soul is bowed down to the dust: Our belly cleaveth unto the earth. [26] Arise for our help, And redeem us for thy mercies' sake. Psalms 45 For the Music Director. To the melody of "Lilies." A Contemplative Maskil of the sons of Korah. A love song. 1 My heart is overflowing with a good thought; I am speaking my works for the king; my tongue is the pen of a skilled scribe. 2 (Ps 63:1; 84:2) You are fairer than all the sons of men; favor is poured on your lips; therefore God has blessed you forever. 3 (Ps 79:10; 80:5) Gird your sword on your thigh, O mighty one, with your splendor and your majesty. 4 (Isa 30:29; Ps 62:8) In your majesty ride prosperously because of truth and meekness and righteousness; and your right hand will teach you awesome things. 5 (Ps 42:11; 43:5) Your arrows are sharp in the heart of the king's enemies; peoples will fall under you. 6 (2Sa 17:22; Dt 3:8-9) Your throne, O God, is forever and ever; the scepter of Your kingdom is an upright scepter. 7 (Ps 88:7; Jnh 2:3) You love righteousness and hate wickedness; therefore God, your God, anointed you with the oil of gladness above your companions. 8 (Job 35:10; Ps 63:6) All your garments are fragrant with myrrh and aloes and cassia; from the ivory palaces stringed instruments make you glad. 9 (Ps 38:6; 18:2) Kings' daughters are among your honourable women; at your right hand stands the queen in gold of Ophir. 10 (Ps 42:3; Joel 2:17) Listen, O daughter, consider and incline your ear; forget your own people, and your father's house, 11 (Ps 42:5; 43:5) and the king will desire your beauty. Since he is your lord, bow to him. 12 The daughter of Tyre will be there with a gift; even the rich among the people will entreat your favor. 13 The royal daughter is all glorious within her chamber; her clothing is plaited gold. 14 She shall be brought to the king in embroidered garments; the virgins, her companions who follow her, shall be brought to you. 15 With gladness and rejoicing they shall be brought; they shall enter into the king's palace. 16 Your sons shall succeed your fathers; yo u will make them princes in all the land. 17 I will cause your name to be remembered in all generations; therefore the people will praise you forever and ever. Psalm 45 To the chief Musician upon Shoshannim, for the sons of Korah, Maschil, A Song of loves. [1] My heart is inditing a good matter: I speak of the things which I have made touching the king: my tongue is the pen of a ready writer. [2] Thou art fairer than the children of men: grace is poured into thy lips: therefore God hath blessed thee for ever. [3] Gird thy sword upon thy thigh, O most mighty, with thy glory and thy majesty. [4] And in thy majesty ride prosperously because of truth and meekness and righteousness; and thy right hand shall teach thee terrible things. [5] Thine arrows are sharp in the heart of the king's enemies; whereby the people fall under thee. [6] Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: the sceptre of thy kingdom is a right sceptre. [7] Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness: therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows. [8] All thy garments smell of myrrh, and aloes, and cassia, out of the ivory palaces, whereby they have made thee glad. [9] Kings' daughters were among thy honourable women: upon thy right hand did stand the queen in gold of Ophir. [10] Hearken, O daughter, and consider, and incline thine ear; forget also thine own people, and thy father's house; [11] So shall the king greatly desire thy beauty: for he is thy Lord; and worship thou him. [12] And the daughter of Tyre shall be there with a gift; even the rich among the people shall intreat thy favour. [13] The king's daughter is all glorious within: her clothing is of wrought gold. [14] She shall be brought unto the king in raiment of needlework: the virgins her companions that follow her shall be brought unto thee. [15] With gladness and rejoicing shall they be brought: they shall enter into the king's palace. [16] Instead of thy fathers shall be thy children, whom thou mayest make princes in all the earth. [17] I will make thy name to be remembered in all generations: therefore shall the people praise thee for ever and ever. Psalms 49 For the Music Director. A Psalm of the sons of Korah. 1 Hear this, all you people; give ear, all you inhabitants of the world, 2 (Ps 63:1; 84:2) both low and high, rich and poor together. 3 (Ps 79:10; 80:5) My mouth will speak wisdom, and the meditation of my heart will be understanding. 4 (Isa 30:29; Ps 62:8) I will incline my ear to a parable; I will expound my riddle with a harp. 5 (Ps 42:11; 43:5) Why should I fear in the days of evil, when the iniquity of my stalkers surrounds me? 6 (2Sa 17:22; Dt 3:8-9) Those who trust in their wealth, and boast in the multitude of their riches, 7 (Ps 88:7; Jnh 2:3) none of them can by any means redeem the other, nor give to God a ransom for anyone, 8 (Job 35:10; Ps 63:6) for the redemption of their souls is costly; even so people cease to exist forever, 9 (Ps 38:6; 18:2) making efforts to live eternally, and not see the pit. 10 (Ps 42:3; Joel 2:17) For one sees that wise men die, together the fool and the brute perish, and leave their wealth to others. 11 (Ps 42:5; 43:5) Their graves become their perpetual homes, and their dwelling places to all generations, though they call their lands after their own names. 12 But a man does not abide in honour; mankind is like the beasts that come to ruin. 13 This is their way, it is their folly; yet their posterity approve their sayings. Selah 14 Like sheep they are appointed for Sheol; Death shall be their shepherd; the upright shall rule over them in the morning, and their form shall waste away in Sheol, far from their dwelling. 15 But God shall redeem my soul from the power of Sheol, for He shall receive me. Selah 16 Do not fear when one is made rich, when the glory of his house is increased, 17 for he takes nothing away in death; his glory does not descend after him. 18 Though while he lives he blesses his soul- and men will praise you when you do well for yourself- 19 that soul will go to the generation of his fathers; they will never see light. 20 A man in honor, and yet without understanding, is like the animals that perish. Psalm 49 To the chief Musician, A Psalm for the sons of Korah. [1] Hear this, all ye people; give ear, all ye inhabitants of the world: [2] Both low and high, rich and poor, together. [3] My mouth shall speak of wisdom; and the meditation of my heart shall be of understanding. [4] I will incline mine ear to a parable: I will open my dark saying upon the harp. [5] Wherefore should I fear in the days of evil, when the iniquity of my heels shall compass me about? [6] They that trust in their wealth, and boast themselves in the multitude of their riches; [7] None of them can by any means redeem his brother, nor give to God a ransom for him: [8] (For the redemption of their soul is precious, and it ceaseth for ever:) [9] That he should still live for ever, and not see corruption. [10] For he seeth that wise men die, likewise the fool and the brutish person perish, and leave their wealth to others. [11] Their inward thought is, that their houses shall continue for ever, and their dwelling places to all generations; they call their lands after their own names. [12] Nevertheless man being in honour abideth not: he is like the beasts that perish. [13] This their way is their folly: yet their posterity approve their sayings. Selah. [14] Like sheep they are laid in the grave; death shall feed on them; and the upright shall have dominion over them in the morning; and their beauty shall consume in the grave from their dwelling. [15] But God will redeem my soul from the power of the grave: for he shall receive me. Selah. [16] Be not thou afraid when one is made rich, when the glory of his house is increased; [17] For when he dieth he shall carry nothing away: his glory shall not descend after him. [18] Though while he lived he blessed his soul: and men will praise thee, when thou doest well to thyself. [19] He shall go to the generation of his fathers; they shall never see light. [20] Man that is in honour, and understandeth not, is like the beasts that perish. Psalms 84 For the Music Director. According to The Gittith. A Psalm of the sons of Korah. 1 How lovely is Your dwelling place, O Lord of Hosts! 2 (Ps 63:1; 84:2) My soul longs, yes, even faints for the courts of the Lord; my heart and my body cry out for the living God. 3 (Ps 79:10; 80:5) Yes, the sparrow has found a home and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, even at Your altars, O Lord of Hosts, my King and my God. 4 (Isa 30:29; Ps 62:8) Blessed are those who dwell in Your house; they continually praise You. Selah 5 (Ps 42:11; 43:5) Blessed is the man whose strength is in You, in whose heart are the paths to Zion. 6 (2Sa 17:22; Dt 3:8-9) As they pass through the Valley of Baca, they makes it a spring; the early rain also covers it with pools. 7 (Ps 88:7; Jnh 2:3) They go from strength to strength; every one of them appears in Zion before God. 8 (Job 35:10; Ps 63:6) O Lord God of Hosts, hear my prayer, and give ear, O God of Jacob. Selah 9 (Ps 38:6; 18:2) Behold, O God our shield, and look upon the face of Your anointed. 10 (Ps 42:3; Joel 2:17) For a day in Your courts is better than a thousand elsewhere. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than to dwell in the tents of wickedness. 11 (Ps 42:5; 43:5) For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord will give favor and glory, for no good thing will He withhold from the one who walks uprightly. 12 O Lord of Hosts, blessed is the man who trusts in You. Psalm 84 To the chief Musician upon Gittith, A Psalm for the sons of Korah. [1] How amiable are thy tabernacles, O LORD of hosts! [2] My soul longeth, yea, even fainteth for the courts of the LORD: my heart and my flesh crieth out for the living God. [3] Yea, the sparrow hath found an house, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, even thine altars, O LORD of hosts, my King, and my God. [4] Blessed are they that dwell in thy house: they will be still praising thee. Selah. [5] Blessed is the man whose strength is in thee; in whose heart are the ways of them. [6] Who passing through the valley of Baca make it a well; the rain also filleth the pools. [7] They go from strength to strength, every one of them in Zion appeareth before God. [8] O LORD God of hosts, hear my prayer: give ear, O God of Jacob. Selah. [9] Behold, O God our shield, and look upon the face of thine anointed. [10] For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness. [11] For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly. [12] O LORD of hosts, blessed is the man that trusteth in thee. Psalms 85 For the Music Director. A Psalm of the songs of Korah. 1 Lord, You have been favorable to Your land; You have brought back the captivity of Jacob. 2 (Ps 63:1; 84:2) You have forgiven the iniquity of Your people; You have covered all their sin. Selah 3 (Ps 79:10; 80:5) You have withdrawn all Your wrath; You have turned from the fierceness of Your anger. 4 (Isa 30:29; Ps 62:8) Restore us, O God of our salvation, and put away Your indignation toward us. 5 (Ps 42:11; 43:5) Will You be angry with us forever? Will You draw out Your anger to all generations? 6 (2Sa 17:22; Dt 3:8-9) Will You not revive us again, that Your people may rejoice in You? 7 (Ps 88:7; Jnh 2:3) Show us Your mercy, O Lord, and grant us Your deliverance. 8 (Job 35:10; Ps 63:6) I will hear what God the Lord will speak, for He will speak peace to His people and to His saints, but let them not turn again to folly. 9 (Ps 38:6; 18:2) Surely His salvation is near to them who fear Him, that glory may dwell in our land. 10 (Ps 42:3; Joel 2:17) Mercy and truth have met together; righteousness and peace have kissed. 11 (Ps 42:5; 43:5) Truth springs from the ground, and righteousness looks down from the sky. 12 Yes, the Lord gives that which is good, and our land shall yield its increase. 13 Righteousness shall go before Him and prepare a way for His footsteps. Psalm 85 To the chief Musician, A Psalm for the sons of Korah. [1] LORD, thou hast been favourable unto thy land: thou hast brought back the captivity of Jacob. [2] Thou hast forgiven the iniquity of thy people, thou hast covered all their sin. Selah. [3] Thou hast taken away all thy wrath: thou hast turned thyself from the fierceness of thine anger. [4] Turn us, O God of our salvation, and cause thine anger toward us to cease. [5] Wilt thou be angry with us for ever? wilt thou draw out thine anger to all generations? [6] Wilt thou not revive us again: that thy people may rejoice in thee? [7] Shew us thy mercy, O LORD, and grant us thy salvation. [8] I will hear what God the LORD will speak: for he will speak peace unto his people, and to his saints: but let them not turn again to folly. [9] Surely his salvation is nigh them that fear him; that glory may dwell in our land. [10] Mercy and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other. [11] Truth shall spring out of the earth; and righteousness shall look down from heaven. [12] Yea, the LORD shall give that which is good; and our land shall yield her increase. [13] Righteousness shall go before him; and shall set us in the way of his steps. Psalms 87 A Psalm of the sons of Korah. A Song. 1 The city of His foundation is on the holy mountain. 2 (Ps 63:1; 84:2) The Lord loves the gates of Zion more than all the dwelling places of Jacob. 3 (Ps 79:10; 80:5) Glorious things are spoken of you, O city of God. Selah. 4 (Isa 30:29; Ps 62:8) I will make mention of Rahab and Babylon to those who know Me; look, Philistia and Tyre with Ethiopia; "This man was born there." 5 (Ps 42:11; 43:5) But of Zion it shall be said, "This one and that one were born in her," for the Most High shall make her secure. 6 (2Sa 17:22; Dt 3:8-9) The Lord shall count when He registers the people, "This one was born there." Selah 7 (Ps 88:7; Jnh 2:3) As well the singers and the players of instruments say, "All my springs are in you." Psalm 87 A Psalm or Song for the sons of Korah. [1] His foundation is in the holy mountains. [2] The LORD loveth the gates of Zion more than all the dwellings of Jacob. [3] Glorious things are spoken of thee, O city of God. Selah. [4] I will make mention of Rahab and Babylon to them that know me: behold Philistia, and Tyre, with Ethiopia; this man was born there. [5] And of Zion it shall be said, This and that man was born in her: and the highest himself shall establish her. [6] The LORD shall count, when he writeth up the people, that this man was born there. Selah. [7] As well the singers as the players on instruments shall be there: all my springs are in thee. 2) Our Daily Bread for 22 April 2026 titled Joining God to Help By Winn Collier Psalm 72:12-14 12 Indeed, may he deliver the needy when he cries; the poor also, and him who has no helper. 13 May he have compassion on the poor and needy, and save the lives of the needy. 14 May he redeem their life from deceit and violence; and may their blood be precious in his sight. [12] For he shall deliver the needy when he crieth; the poor also, and him that hath no helper. [13] He shall spare the poor and needy, and shall save the souls of the needy. [14] He shall redeem their soul from deceit and violence: and precious shall their blood be in his sight. As the Taliban swiftly overran the Afghanistan government in 2021, and tens of thousands were trapped with no way to escape, many were isolated and desperate. Ordinary citizens jumped to action, including one young man who launched an Instagram campaign, raising $7 million to pay for chartered evacuation flights. "We've shed the political divisions in this situation," he told a news outlet, "and really come together from all walks of life to rally together and save these people." They chose to jump into the fray. It's not just Afghanistan. From skyscrapers to villages around the world, so many people are alone - enduring crushing sorrows. It's stunning, however, to see God's attention turned toward these places of suffering and hopelessness. Somehow, ultimately, in His own way and time, He will "deliver the needy who cry out, the afflicted who have no one to help" (72:12). And remarkably, one way God's help arrives is through us. Psalm 72 refers to both King Solomon's work and God's work - and it's not always easy to disentangle which is which. God is the rescuer, but He calls us to move with Him. When we encounter injustice or suffering, we can join Him, moving right into the middle of the ruin. We can follow God and go into the places where no one else is there to help. Reflect & Pray What situation have you encountered where it seems like there's no one else to help? How can you join God in that place? Dear God, thank You for promising to help us - and for calling us to join You in helping others. Learn how you can be moved to helping those in need. 3) Daily verses taken from Billy Graham Evangelical Organisation Words in Season Scripture Memory Tools Week 8 Guided by Grace Day 4 - Send for Help ! James 1:5 5 (Pr 2:3-6; Jn 15:7) If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all men liberally and without criticism, and it will be given to him. 5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. A new employee in an electronics plant had the responsibility for overseeing one machine. The machine worked fine when the young man came on duty, but soon it began to run a bit rough. The employee tinkered with the machine, trying to "fix" it, until finally if stopped working altogether In fear and trembling the worker sent for the foreman, and stammered, "I - I, well, sir, I did my best to fix it." "Son", the foreman thundered, "you need to know only one thing. Around here, doing you best means sending for me!" Wisdom, James 1:5 says, has its source in God alone. And if we are to attain wisdom, we need to learn doing our best means sending for God. Often we spend time tinkering with our lives or the the lives of others. We don't think to as God for his wisdom in the decisions we must take; instead, we use our human reasoning and take our best guess. But the path to wisdom does not lie in guesswork. The scriptures give us clear indication of God's direction for his people, and through Bible study, application, prayer, and meditation, we can understand what God wants to reveal to us. "If any of you lacks wisdom," James says, "he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him." The first step to attaining wisdom is recognising that we are not wise. The second step is to ask. And God, who is faithful to his Word and His people, will respond. Application a) Under what circumstances have I tinkered with my life, making it worse rather then fixing it? b) What practical steps can I take to ask God for wisdom? 4) From Prosperity Promises - Kenneth Copeland Proverbs 22:7 7 The rich rules over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender. 7 The rich ruleth over the poor, And the borrower is servant to the lender. 5) From a Book called God's Promises for you: When you are Saddened by Loss John 14:1 - 7 1 "Let not your heart be troubled. You believe in God. Believe also in Me. 2 In My Father's house are many dwelling places. If it were not so, I would have told you. I am going to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, you may be also. 4 You know where I am going, and you know the way." 5 Thomas said to Him, "Lord, we do not know where You are going. How can we know the way?" 6 Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. 7 If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also. From now on you do know Him and have seen Him." 1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. 2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. 4 And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know. 5 Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way? 6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. 7 If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him. Remember God's promises when You pray The Lord's prayer Matthew 6:9-13 9 "Therefore pray in this manner: Our Father who is in heaven, hallowed be Your name. 10 (Mt 3:2; 4:17) Your kingdom come; Your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. 11 (Pr 30:8; Isa 33:16) Give us this day our daily bread. 12 (Ex 34:7; Ps 32:1) And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. 13 (1Co 10:13; Jn 17:15) And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen." 9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. 10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. 11 Give us this day our daily bread. 12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. 13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen. 6) This come from Praying for Muslims in Canada 2015 (Is there a 2022 edition?) Manitoba Quick facts on Muslims in Manitoba Manitoba 2015 population 1 282 000 est Muslim Population 21 349 CNMM Networks: Winnipeg The Muslim population of Manitoba, understandably centred in Winnipeg, is very diverse and represents some 48 different cultural and ethnic backgrounds. Conservative estimates put their number at 21000 , with some suggesting it might be twice that size. Some outreach among Muslims has started, yet in comparison to the size of this community, there is the need and opportunity for far more engagement. Continued influx of new immigrants and refugees continues to see the growth of this Muslim centre in Manitoba. We rejoice in the Arabic fellowship meeting there and the energetic workers among Muslims in Winnipeg. Let us intercede in unity for: - new Christian workers among Manitoba's growing Muslim population - new church ministries focused on prayer, equipping and reaching Muslim communities around them, as well as training new workers - the Arabic fellowship and their ministries of discipling new Muslim background believers and for effectiveness in outreach - for the recent Somali woman who found faith in Jesus and stood her ground in the face of opposition to her new faith. - for current workers among Muslims to be blessed, refreshed and encouraged with great support Adding further 30 day of Prayers from 10 March 2024 to 8 April 2024 1 Timothy 2:1-7 1 Therefore I exhort first of all that you make supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings for everyone, 2 (Ezr 6:10) for kings and for all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceful life in all godliness and honesty, 3 (1Ti 1:1; Lk 1:47) for this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour, 4 (Eze 18:23; 18:32) who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. 5 (Gal 3:20; 1Co 8:6; Dt 6:4) There is one God and one mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus, 6 (1Co 1:6; 1Ti 6:15) who gave Himself as a ransom for all. This was the testimony given at the proper time. 7 (Ac 9:15; 2Ti 1:11) For this I was appointed a preacher and an apostle (I speak the truth in Christ and do not lie), a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth.
