Background: The positive changes in human behavior caused by relaxing music demonstrate the psychological effect of music on human body. A meta-analytical study has shown that relaxing music affects blood pressure and heart rate in coronary heart patients and cancer patients. The aim of our study is to research whether there is a significant effect on heart rate and heart rate variability due to listening to relaxing music during ECG GATED MPS imaging under gamma camera.

Conclusions: Relaxing music provides great benefits to both patient and clinician. There is close relationship between relaxing music and health procedure, can use every area of the health noninvasiv, safe, cheap and is a method don't have side effect.

Taken together, our results seem to indicate that pre-stress music listening might not be effective in reducing the biopsychological stress response, but might, in contrast, add to or facilitate a stress response. However, our results may also be interpreted in the light of another explanation: it may be that the participants in the music group were actually so relaxed that the subsequent stress induction was incompatible with this state of relaxation, and that they produced an increased stress response as a consequence. We might have therefore measured the effect of the contrast between a relaxing and a stressful state rather than the preparatory effects of relaxing music on the subsequent stress response. This notion is supported by the greatest increase in stress perception in the relaxing music group. Future studies should follow-up on this explanation and further dissect the effects of preparatory music listening on stress responses.

Science has widely studied music to discover the potentially therapeutic effects music has on the mental and physical state of listeners. These studies have yielded positive results and uncovered the best music genres that hasten a sense of relaxation.

Film scores, like any other type of music, trigger emotional responses by releasing dopamine and endorphins. The right cinematic film scores can help people relax and slide into a stress-free atmosphere.

Reggae is undoubted a relaxing genre that cools the souls and uplifts the spirit. The soothing and therapeutic sounds are not only iconic but also induce the atmosphere with a vibe that no other music genre can.

The average reggae tempo lies between 80 and 110 bpms, which is a lot slower than the average pop music. This leads to the production of sounds laced with a mellow vine and groove that facilitates relaxation. If you are looking for music to relax to, songs by the legendary Bob Marley are a great option for you.

Jazz can also prove to be a relaxing genre. With slow beats that signal your central nervous system to lower your respiratory rate and blood pressure, jazz music can dramatically reduce stress and induce focus.

Jazz relaxes the body by activating alpha brain waves and calming the mind. It works wonders for reducing anxiety and increasing productiveness. Jazz improves verbal ability, memory, mood, and is used as therapy for stroke patients.

These various genres have been repeatedly proven to reduce stress and induce relaxation in listeners. They are perfect for meditation, sleep, or softly wafting from speakers in a spa or other places where relaxation is crucial.

A 2002 study conducted by animal behaviorist Dr. Deborah Wells confirmed the relaxing effect on dogs of classical music. In this study, the dogs spent more time resting and being quiet, and less time standing when exposed to classical music compared to heavy metal music, pop music, or conversation.

A popular subgenre of electronic music, thousands of people all over the world use the relaxing rhythms lo-fi music to help them concentrate on studies or work and to relax. You might be reading this listening to a lo-fi playlist in the background, on a loop...

Most lo-fi tunes are instrumental, influenced by genres like boom-bap, jazz, funk, and electro. Tracks use hip-hop beats and looped samples to evoke positive emotions, feelings of relaxation, and nostalgia. They also often include the sound of animals, nature, the sea, disco noise, or other recordings from daily life.

Lo-fi is not to be confused with ASMR (Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response). While ASMR includes sounds that provoke physical relaxation, lo-fi tunes are an artistic creation that may include elements of ASMR, but go a lot further.

Combining the best of both worlds, this royalty free relaxing music collection makes excellent background noise for studying, sleeping, working, exercising, or just about anything else you can think of! Whether you prefer the gentle plucks of a harp or the lush harmonies of synthetic pads, there is a track for everyone to enjoy.
