With a multitude of conversion and editing tools available at your disposal=
, our online Word to PDF converter helps you convert your files with ease. =
With tools that allow you to rotate, compress, merge two different PDFs fil=
es together, or split a single PDF into two, editing your PDF files has nev=
er been easier.

Get started with a promotional trial period, or sign up for a monthly, annu=
al, or unlimited membership to get unlimited access to all of our easy-to-u=
se tools, without the fear of maximum file sizes or data caps. You can even=
convert multiple Word docs, PDFs, or other types of files at the same time=
.

A DOC or DOCX is a document file created in a word processor, such as Micro=
soft Word or Google Docs. A DOC file uses various bits of information from =
the system to create a page layout. For example, it will pull installed fon=
ts from the system to display the text. This makes DOCs relatively small in=
size and easy to edit and manipulate.

The above answers all fell short for me, as I was doing a batch job convert=
ing around 70,000 word documents this way. As it turns out, doing this repe=
atedly eventually leads to Word crashing, presumably due to memory issues (=
the error was some COMException that I didn't know how to parse). So, my ha=
ck to get it to proceed was to kill and restart word every 100 docs (arbitr=
arily chosen number).

I'm new to Obsidian, and I'm trying to use it instead of Microsoft Word bec=
ause it seems really powerful. However, I have a major problem: why isn't t=
here a simple way to convert Word documents to Obsidian format? I've notice=
d that there are tons of plugins for almost everything except for this spec=
ific task.

Enketo allows PDF exports but they aren't always the best for these purpose=
s. If I was to give any feedback it would be to decide on what the purpose =
of the word exports is. If it is for someone who will review the content of=
the form then maybe it works well as it is.

I'm using Yosemite 10.10.1 with a KShell script called converttopdf.ksh by =
vdesabou (Vincent) that I'm pretty sure I hear about on these forums. It cr=
eates a PDF version of a highlighted word document in Finder in the same fo=
lder as the original .doc file. The Shell script runs a separate applescrip=
t called converttopdf.applescript for the conversion then it brings up opti=
ons so that I can automatically send the newly created PDF as an email.

The converttopdf.applescript script as I have it (from 2013) is copy & past=
ed below. It could be that this is that same applescript you guys are tryin=
g to run directly from Alfred, I'm not sure if it was written by Vincent

The converttopdf.ksh script as I have it (from 2013) is copy & pasted below=
, I've been using the script combination since April 2013 so the version on=
Vincent's Github page may well be updated/different but as it's working pe=
rfectly for me I really haven't seen any point in changing what I'm current=
ly using.

I create forms in MS Word and insert fillable fields, check boxes and radio=
buttons. When I convert the forms to PDF, the form fields do not carry ove=
r in Nitro Pro. I have tried the "Create PDF" function in the Nitro Pro tab=
of MS Word, in MS Word I tried File / Export / Create a PDF/XPS Document a=
nd I tried importing an MS Word file into Nitro PDF. They do exactly the sa=
me thing which is just convert the file to a PDF but do not recognize or im=
port any of the form fields. Currently the only option is to recreate the f=
orm fields in Nitro Pro (much more tedious and time consuming vs. MS Word).=
Anyone have experience with this or have any suggestions? Thanks, -JD

them to a different format. All from the convenience of one tool!

I think it is because the picture files are in a sub-directory, and the plu=
gin does not pass the correct path to Pandoc.

With a blanc, normal note and paste the picture and trying to convert the n=
ote (.md) to a Word document it works.

Free online Word to HTML converter with built-in code cleaning features and=
easy switch between the visual and source editors. It works perfectly for =
any document conversion, like Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF, Googl=
e Docs, Sheets, and many more. You can also use this tool for composing web=
content from scratch or just to tidy up the dirty markup.

To converting Word file to web page there is a built in feature in SharePoi=
nt. Probably you already checked it out. But it works for me. So i am refer=
ring you the link.

Use PDFSimpli to add text, highlight, watermark, compress or convert any fi=
le from anywhere. Our online PDF editor is compatible with most web browser=
s including Chrome, Safari, FireFox, Microsoft and Opera.

Some common synonyms of convert are metamorphose, transfigure, transform, t=
ransmogrify, and transmute. While all these words mean "to change a thing i=
nto a different thing," convert implies a change fitting something for a ne=
w or different use or function.

I do not want to connect the document so that you can use Word to edit or d=
isplay the document (which apparently is the function of that "Office conne=
ctor" app). I just want to convert the Word document to a clean, normal Con=
fluence page.

Having a weird error that Ive never experienced before. My operting system =
is Windows Xp Professional and when converting from MS Word (2007) to PDF, =
the photos in the pdf become pixilated and fuzzy. But when the word doc is =
printed it looks as crisp as it does on my compiter screen.

I have tried:

1) Changing the image quality of the photos in PhotoShop, but that didnt he=
lp.

=20

2) Went into MS Word PDF preferences and changed the Image Settings (under =
the advanced tab) to High and Maximum, and no change was noticed.

=20

3) In Word I saved manually as a PDF and also used the "Create PDF" option =
(under Acrobat) and both had the smae effect.

Any help would be very appreciated.

Thanks

I work in Word online and I design and format the file pages on it. The pro=
blem is that when I re-open the file, I find that the pages I previously or=
ganize is Not organized in order, the same thing when I open the file in th=
e word phone application or google docs.

I would like to collaborate with colleagues who do not use LaTeX and want a=
'Track Changes' function. Therefore, I would like to convert my TeX files =
into Microsoft Word format. I tried grindeq and tex2word which both work up=
to the point where I use the first linguistic example.I am using the lingu=
ex package for glossing, e.g.

With the programs I tried for one the formatting is not taken over (word1 a=
nd gloss1 and word-2 and gloss-2 are supposed to be aligned) and in tex2wor=
d the command for small caps (namely \sc) is interpreted for the whole foll=
owing text (also some comments are printed and references don't work; in gr=
indeq the tables don't look perfect)
