Thanks for taking the time to consider and respond.
I've done pretty much all of the "comparisons" that are available and
applicable.

The problem is there are no transactions to compare to and there
definitely was no transaction on BoA to empty the Account in Quicken.

The Account (an IRA CD) doesn't really have any transactions per se at
BoA to compare to. The Statements are just Quarterly Summaries showing a
Prior Balance and a negligible Interest Credit and the Current Quarter
Balance. The 4th Quarter Statement also shows when I took the RMD. (I've
long been in the 70 1/2+ world.)

I have the Account intact in lots and lots of Quicken Backups from prior
to 08/17/2024.

What I'm trying to determine is if there's any way to get [the] 1st
transaction pointer repaired in Quicken or get an entire Quicken Account
copied from one QDF file into another.

I know I can manually prime the Account with a few summary lines then
get over it but the AR side of me can't let it go just yet.

Thanks.
Geo.
