I hadn't thought of that - that turned out to be key. As I noted I had done all of the Validate/Super Validate steps but to no avail. I ran the Transaction Report for all dates in the Account in question and it displayed all of the transaction history so we know it is, indeed, still out there in the QDF file. The Report DOES show an 08/17/2024 Balance Adjustment transaction to zero. NO way did I enter that (can't image why I would have) as there would be no rational reason to do so - the CD is still with BoA and at a non-zero value. I now know that somewhere along the way I can delete that zeroing transaction and get my balance back but ... the question now is how do I get the register display back! Short story ... I did get my register display back and all seems well!!! Phew. At first I could not find the "filtering" in the usual places but then I found it in Edit Account Details and evidentially it had to do with my Deactivate/Add Account sequence for my BoA Accounts (I no longer remember what lead me down that path but something did). The General tab in Account Details had "Tracking Method" 'grayed-out' and a Link to a "why can't I track..." which popped-up a disclaimer that Bank of America - Quicken only did "summary" (my words). When I was doing the Deactivate/Add Account sequence for BoA the Bank of America - Quicken appeared as an FI so I chose it as it fit the profile. Previously it was most likely Bank of America-All Other States. I Deactivated Online Services and selected Complete Tracking and that gave me back my Register with all transaction history. Yeah! I'll worry about Online later. Again, John, thank you for the Report tip - that lead to a solution. Geo.
