So the credit hit my CC the next day.  But the TT still "works", I 
thought perhaps that somehow the activation code would have been 
revoked.  Maybe only when you actually try to submit a tax return?

At any rate, there was a number of posts on the Amazon website that said 
the 2024 d/l for TT was actually still providing the 2023 version of the 
product (!).  I think I'll wait a few weeks until Amazon gets its act 
together since they claim that any purchase is non-refundable.
