Is it possible to move a quicken file to a new account. Here's the issue. I run a small non-profit with quicken classic deluxe. I'm trying to plan for the unlikely disaster that I get hit by a bus and someone has to use our backups to recover. The backups will contain the current quicken qdf file. But I use my personal quicken account for this as well as my personal qdf file. Is it possible for them to open the qdf changing its account on a different machine? Or is the account in effect a qdf password? If not, can I run two quicken accounts for different qdf files on the same windows machine? And could they open the file knowing the account name and password on a different machine?
