You made system files visible, and those desktop.ini
files come from the two folders that combined together,
make your desktop icons. The desktop.ini file is
a text file, and it contains "view customization"
info. If you remove a desktop.ini, sooner or later
File Explorer will make a new one.
Yes, I've seen mine move around on their own,
like lost kittens. On more than one OS.
Not a big deal. Think of it as "a feature, not a bug" :-)
If there were more than two of them, I would be
concerned then. It would mean the excess ones
did not belong.
