If any convert the group, you'll then have a mix of News sites with the Moderation flag set to "yes" and others on which it's set to "no". That makes a bad situation worse. Please withdraw the proposal and do not send a newgroup message. Find an appropriate existing unmoderated religion newsgroup in which to hold your discussions.
