You never were a serious proponent. I'm not explaining the history of
that as you sure as hell were well aware of it.

Oh, there were a good half dozen revenge froups started.

Ray created it. I asked him to create the others, but he hasn't. All
that's important is that I have more revenge froups than Peter J Ross.

What you did wrong was refuse to post on the topic, and refuse to find
the audience for the group. The proposal itself is irrelevant since
you've got your fingers in your ears, but you do need to get syntax correct
if you send the newgroup message.

This is alt.*. The proponent gets to do what he wants. Have fun. Maybe
the group won't be a spamtrap.
