I don't know the cost but both hospitals have helipads and I often see the 
helos coming or going.

The local hospitals are quite good but don't have the special facilities 
available in Seattle. A co-worker's wife had a very premature baby that 
was flown to Seattle. There's a macabre joke that if you're shipped to 
Seattle you're going to die but this case had a happy ending after many 
months.
