MsWord question

Hi:
I'm hoping some of you MS Word experts can help me with the following
situation.
1. My Font default setting in word is 12 Poin Times Roman.
2. When I transfer a file from my Braille Lite into Word, it does so in
10 point courier.
3. When I go into the font menu and change the font type to New Roman and
the font size to 12, It does so readily enough - but when I reopen the
document after saving it, it reverts back to 10-point type.
Any ideas how I might rectify this?
