Re: MsWord question

I learned one has to select the entire document before playing with formats.

Secondly, are you sure that the entire document is being saved with that new
font?

 

I'm asking the above because sometimes, I've found that simply going to the
format/fonts menu and changing the font doesn't do the job.  You need to
import the old document or copy the old document into the file and then
block the entire text using either edit/select all, or control-A, then going
to the format/font menu and changing the font.

 

Otherwise, all that gets changed is the font where your cursor is at the
time.

 

Another hint:  When I have font or other format problems, I copy the text
into notepad or another flat text editor first then copy that text into Word
or whatever.  That rids the text of all the formatting and hidden stuff that
creates havouc and makes me crazy.  

 

By the way, I don't have a Braille note or similar so I'm not sure about
that part of the transaction/transfer.
