questions about information bar and macromedia flash player

Hi all,

I have a couple of problems.  I wanted to know if anyone could tell me where on the computer I could go to check if I have macromedia flash player?  I did not know if I have it for sure so I went to download it and the information bar came up blocking me from downloading the macromedia flash player.  I went through the steps to turn off the information bar and completed those successfully, but when I went back to download the flash player the information bar blocked me again.  That is crazy because I just went through the proceedure to turn it off so I could download it.  If anyone has any ideas on these issues I would really appreciate it.  Thank you so much.
