I have mine set that way too, and it's actually better if you know the keyboard shortcut. When all your documents open in one window, all you need to do is hit ctrl F6 to cycle between the open documents. The advantage is other open windows you have will not be in the cycle as they are when you open everything in separate windows. Now only one stays active at a time. If I want to see the others I must go to the File menu and select one by number, right above the exit option. Does anyone know how I can restore the ability to have multiple documents open such that I can alt tab between them? I didn't even know what to look for in the Help index. I'd even settle for returning to Windows default settings but couldn't find that either. Thanks.
