It is a bit of a myth that all Java based programs are inaccessible to the Talks or MobileSpeaks screen readers. All the accessible apps that my company is working on are all written in Java. They all are 100% accessible. It is very easy to make inaccessible Java apps since it is pretty easy to send bitmaps directly to the screen, but just because an app is written in Java does not automatically make it inaccessible. -- Blue skies.
