[Bug 63717] Meaning of _default_ seems to have changed in 2.4, yet not reflected in documentation

The change to the doc was made because there was a lot of misleading stuff on various third-party websites about how _default_ was treated, and I was trying to clarify that it is simply an alias for *, with * being the preferred syntax (mostly just because it's shorter). So, I could, I suppose, support removing _default_ if someone felt strongly about it, but I like leaving it in because it's valid syntax, and the docs are intended to be exhaustive while recommending best-practice. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
