I've read this ticket several times, and I'm completely unclear what you're
reporting. "Details of " and "information on" are synonymous. And a product=
's
website exists *solely* to provide information on the latest version, so I =
have
no idea how that can be "banal" or "dated". That's literally the only thing
it's there for.
