mod_layout-4.0.1a documentation???

Is this project still active? I just wonder as there been no changes to cvs 
for 8 months!!! And now docs on how to use this soft seam to be available. 
Following directives for 3.2 obviously don't work either... pitty as I found 
it so usefull under apache 1.3.x but now after upgrade to apache 2.0.46 it 
looks like I have to rewrite all sites using this.

I don't think it would be too much to as for what have changed in terms of 
directives, at least... but nada.
