The problem that Mike Parson and I have, has apparently been a long standing problem that has either never been fixed, or was fixed but resurfaced *sigh*. I did a search on google for "spreadlogd segmentation fault freebsd" and got the following article... http://lists.spread.org/pipermail/spread-users/2001-July/000144.html (look under the section "original message") This guy had the exact same problem we're currently having, where spreadlogd starts, but soon as it receives one message it writes that one message to the log file and then segfaults. I will query the original poster I guess and see if they ever found a fix for this, I'm kinda desperate to get spreadlogd up today since the go-live date for the new site is tomorrow. Maybe as an interim I'll just move the logs via scp and merge them manually for a while. Regards, Jay West --- [This E-mail scanned for viruses by Declude Virus]
