problem with mod_log_sql + frontpage

I'm currently having a problem with mod_log_sql 1.99 (with the 2 patches 
applied) and some frontpage requests.  Not all frontpage requests have 
this problem, several of them log just fine.

This is with apache 2.0.50.

This is the result in my sql_preserve.sql file of one of these failed
