I rather like the interface you get with http://url:mod-mp3-port/?op=select.
Unfortunately, the author says it would be a major change to stream the same
tune to different listeners (this is a "feature" of web-servers to have
independent stateless connections).   If you lose the interface tho you can hack
a socket (a la icecast) and force mod_mp3 to listen on that socket - it will
have no choice but to play the same stream to all listeners then.    Seems like
lots of other software out there, even with web interfaces, that do that
already.   One example is the Digital Audio Base from the Dave/Dina project :
