Yuppers... You just use the mod_mp3 default handler thingy. This knowledge is in the FAQ, I think. Once your done configuring apache to let mod_mp3 be the handler for *.mp3 files, you can just put them in your www folder, and see them in your browser. -Jon -----Original Message----- From: Pat Erler [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Tuesday, February 11, 2003 06:26 To: [email protected] Subject: [Mod_mp3] linking to mp3 files Hello mod, although there has been a thread in november about linking single mp3 files on a web page to be played thru mod_mp3 i didn't completely grasp it: making a link like: http://tunes.zinkwazi.com:8000/?op=play&song=5f9a6ab7f7fdeaf880917e2c750 3022 is no problem, question is, where do i get the number (is it a hash?) from? isn't there an easier way to do place links to streaming content in a webpage? or is there a better approach then mod_mp3 for this? thanks in advance, -- Best regards, Pat mailto:[email protected] _______________________________________________ Mod_mp3 mailing list [email protected] http://lists.tangent.org/mailman/listinfo/mod_mp3
