Why is that uncool?

I was thinking of having the server in question plugged into my stereo 
system and also to my tv somehow.  That way I could have the server 
display the current track playing in big letters on the screen.

I've been experimenting with XOSD - if I can get it to coexist peacefully 
with the screen savers, I can just let the screen savers run showing 
pretty pattens on the monitor with the current track's info displayed over 
that.
