I've borrowed an old iMac with the latest MacOSX to test Mod_Survey on. For now I find that using the "slate" theme works reasonably OK even in Safari (latest version), but that some work remains. While I'm at it I intend to polish the installation methods so it can be easy to run Mod_Survey on a Mac. Sadly enough, I spent the whole afternoon yesterday without being able to figure out how to install mod_perl, mainly because I couldn't figure out how to install gcc. :-) So much for being a computer expert. I know people around here have been running Mod_Survey on MacOSX before. Could someone please provide a cookbook step-by-step instruction on how to get the following base system installed: * gcc * glibc * perl * apache 2 * mod_perl 1.99 * DBI.pm * CGI.pm I have a base system, but I do not have any install CDs. I managed to install fink and use it to set up "vim", so I feel reasonably comfortable with the console prompt now at least. :-) // Joel Skickat av Joel Palmius <[email protected]> till survey-discussion
