But, Greg, do you remember: There was a bug report some time ago concerning the unshrink code that failed to decompress a valid shrunk archiv entry. This shrunk compressed entry can be extracted without problems when using PK tools, so there is a problem with our unshrink code. When this problem was submitted to Zip-Bugs, you said you might take a look into the decompression code when the patent situation "expires". I had tried to understand why the unshrink process failed, but I was not familiar with LZW algorithm details and did not find any obvious bug. > Greg Cheers, Christian Spieler
