Star has already been tested with much more complex cases hundreds of
times. Anyway, under no circumstances, your problems may occur in case of 
restoring a level 0 dump.

As I have no problems, I cannot reproduce your problem and for the same reason
I need to get access to your archive in order to understand your problems.
