System: Linux 2.6.X (Debian 3.1 distibution)
star-1.5a67 (comes with debian) and
star-1.5a70 (compiled by me) both do a segmentation fault if I try
to use the -data-change-warn option.
Strace shows a:
brk(0) = 0x809a000
brk(0x80bb000) = 0x80bb000
open("WARN|GROW|SHRINK *", O_RDONLY|O_LARGEFILE) = -1 ENOENT (No such
file or directory)
--- SIGSEGV (Segmentation fault) ---
+++ killed by SIGSEGV +++
The command line:
/bin/star -block-number -vv -fifo -link-dirs level=0 -wtardumps \
b=2048k -time -multivol H=exustar \
new-volume-script='/usr/bin/rsh machine /root/new/tapechange' \
-sparse -data-change-warn -cM f=root@machine:/dev/nst0 fs=300M \
-C /filesystemname .
If I write errctl="WARN|GROW|SHRINK *" instead of -data-change-warn
it works..
Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?
