I am slightly confused by the release numbering. An earlier thread
mentioned 3.0.1 RC01 being released, but I don't recall ever seeing an
announcement of a full 3.0.1 release after that and there doesn't seem to
be a tag for it. Is 3.0.1 being skipped over?
